We’re looking for an incredible quality assurance engineer, who loves shipping high quality features, making high impact decisions daily and wants to help shape the future of Relay.

As a QA lead, you’ll have ownership over all aspects of product quality and will be key in delivering features that customers love.


Some of the things we’d love to have you do in your first six months include:

  • Ownership over all aspects of quality including our web and mobile applications, serverless functions and scheduled tasks

  • Help coordinate creation of test plans and define execution strategies.

  • Be accountable for pre-release testing to ensure all features meet business and engineering acceptance criteria

  • Develop automated tests using Cypress, Enzyme and Jest to ensure coverage at all levels of our stack

  • Iterate on our continuous delivery pipeline and improve automated test infrastructure

  • Improve coverage of our manual test case repository, and work to automate high-priority tests.

  • Execute integration tests with our ecosystem partners to ensure a smooth integration.

  • Explore and evaluate tooling for performance testing, and help lay the foundation for a performance test suite.


You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a minimum of 4+ years experience in a QA, software engineering or developer position, preferably in the tech / start-up universe.

  • Have experience with Javascript - we’re a Node.js, Typescript, React shop

  • Have working knowledge of AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, Dynamo, Lambda) and continuous deployment pipelines using CircleCI.

  • Are detailed-oriented and focused on quality

  • Are perpetually curious and always learning - whether about the latest languages, frameworks, best practices or the tech industry in general

  • Rise to a challenge and can handle change and uncertainty, at times

As a QA Engineer, you will:

  • Improve the quality of the Chattermill product suite by establishing QA processes

  • Prepare a well-structured, comprehensive and detailed test plan for the app while working in close collaboration with our Product, UX and Engineering teams

  • Take part in new projects from the early stages to define test cases for new functionalities

  • Assist our skilled Customer Experience team in triaging bugs blocking our clients from achieving results using Chattermill

  • Work together with Frontend Engineers to cover the Chattermill app with e2e tests

  • Perform manual functional testing of the new version of the Chattermill app

  • Help to improve coverage with automated tests


What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in QA in a SaaS or Product-led company

  • Basic debugging skills

  • Proficiency in one of the JavaScript e2e test frameworks or libraries

  • A basic understanding of backend and frontend technologies

  • Experience in projects with rich UI/UX

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A sharp eye for catching UI (markup) issues

  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • You’re an advocate of quality and are able to convince others of its importance to gain their buy-in

  • You’re resilient and are able to manage multiple priorities while under pressure

  • You’re a team player and care deeply about the wider success of the team and product


Nice to have:

  • Experience working with analytical products

  • Experience in API testing with Selenium or similar

  • Proficiency with TypeScript

  • Knowledge of RoR command line

  • Knowledge of SQL

The Salesforce QA Engineer will be responsible for delivering a high-quality product to our end users. The role will include functional testing, unit testing, deployment testing, security testing, manual testing and developing an automated testing framework to support the delivery of an enterprise level Salesforce implementation.


Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of regression and functional testing, devise, and document test schedules, create test cases, establish protocols and appropriate testing environments

  • Design, document, develop, maintain, and scale complex testing frameworks to ensure successful, on-time deployments via continuous integration - JIRA, Git, Selenium, Jenkins

  • Collaborate with development team throughout the software development lifecycle to estimate, prioritise and execute testing activities in-line with release schedule

  • Identify, report and monitor bugs found from testing to development to resolution 

  • Manage relationships and coordinate testing between onshore & offshore teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years Salesforce experience, Salesforce certification beneficial ADM 201 / ADM 211 / ADM 301 / DEV 401 / DEV 501

  • 3+ years hands-on quality assurance experience including functional, regression testing, developing, implementing & maintaining automated test scripts (nice to have)

  • 2+ years hands-on experience with development tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Salesforce Metadata & tooling API, Selenium (nice to have) 

  • SQL, ETL experience required to establish test environments

  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle

  • Experience working with onshore & offshore development teams – ability to coordinate cross functional work towards task completion

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Close attention to detail & the ability to work independently

At Radix we are looking for an inventive and creative Test Engineer who is well versed in Java software development and test automation and finds value in creating tools to assist developers in testing their own code. You will explore Radix’s architecture, designs and codebase in order to design and implement ways to break our software and identify potential problems. You will be integral in steering the quality of Radix’s distributed ledger technology (DLT) and products.

We are looking for you to help guide better software design with your expert knowledge of testing, and champion proper development practice in order to ensure that our software meets the highest standards.


As SDET at Radix you will...

  • Highlight gaps in test coverage and develop guidelines that encourage better testing, increase test coverage and improve the release process.

  • Research and implement new technologies and techniques to help support various parts of the testing process, including both functional and non-functional.

  • Help measure how closely the product meets our quality goals and highlight risks.

  • Lead the design and development of test harnesses and frameworks from scratch, where required.

  • Lead the design and development of complex test cases.

Requirements

Some things we expect you to know/have:

  • 5+ years experience as a Test Engineer / SDET / Automation Tester.

  • Excellent knowledge and applied expertise of quality practices.

  • Strong coding skills and demonstrable experience developing with Java 8+.

  • Knowledge of security and penetration testing techniques.

  • Knowledge of DLT/blockchain technology including decentralization and cryptographic protocols.

  • Experience with tools for Continuous Integration (CI) testing.

  • Ability to clearly communicate test results (using relevant tooling/dashboards).

  • Knowledge of git, branching, continuous integration.

  • Have done, and like to do demonstrably hard things.

  • Great interpersonal skills and a willingness to go above and beyond when collaborating with the rest of the team.

  • Opinions on what technologies and standards we should use now and in the future.

  • Writing clean, standards-compliant, scalable, reusable, quality code.

  • Interest in DLT/Blockchain Technologies.

  • Prior experience working with agile, cross-functional teams is a plus. In-depth knowledge about DLT or Blockchain technology is not required, but candidates should generally be interested in the underlying technologies, as we believe they are poised to transform the way we live.


Some things that will really help you stand out:

  • In-depth knowledge of BFT-style consensus systems.
